Having “Uncle Donny” screen in California was great. I went with my Aunt Marie and my sister Andrea, and we met up with my friend and co-writer Brian Lonano and his cousin Jeremy.

Action on Film in Long Beach was on Saturday 7/29. They forgot to put my film in the program, so the first screening was pretty empty. It screened again later in the Center Theater, where a lot more people showed up and they seemed to enjoy it.

“Uncle Donny” screened again on Sunday 7/30 at BestFest, and had more good reactions. That night “Uncle Donny” took Second Place in the Animation category!
